I have lived and worked in Sheffield for over twenty five years, and been painting as long, since graduating in Fine Art from Trent University in 1986.

I would call myself an intuitive artist concerned with exploring the materials used; oil, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, as well as the colour, composition, marks and light. My abstract work has it’s origins in the land and sea scape.

My work has been exhibited and sold regularly throughout the region.

I have also produced numerous commissions, in particular portraits.

I run adults and childrens art classes at Hangingwater Studio and Planet Pot, Nether Green, Sheffield, on a regular basis,,see www.hangingwater.co.uk and planetpot.co.uk. I also run a part-time business as a mural artist, see ggpaint.co.uk.
