I have lived and worked in Sheffield for over twenty years, and been painting as long, since graduating in Fine Art from Nottingham Polytechnic in 1986.

I would call myself an intuitive artist concerned with exploring the materials used; oil, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, as well as the colour, composition, marks and light. My abstract work has it’s origins in the land and sea scape.

My work has been exhibited and sold regularly throughout South Yorkshire,

I have also produced numerous commissions, in particular portraits.

I run children’s and adults art classes at Planet Pot, Sheffield and Hangingwater Studios, Nether Green, Sheffield, on a regular basis, see planetpot.co.uk and www.hangingwater.co.uk I also run a part-time business as a mural artist, see ggpaint.co.uk.
